Prof. Orit Avidov-Ungar

Prof. Avidov-Ungar is Dean and Senior Lecturer at the School of Education at Achva Academic College.
Her areas of expertise: education administration, education policy and leading changes in the education system.

In recent years, she has been involved in building policy/reforms in the Ministry of Education such as: “New Horizon”, “Courage to Change” and the ICT reform, teachers’ professional development and adapting the education system to 21st-century skills.

Prof. Avidov-Ungar’s research examines the assimilation of ICT in the education system; resistance and difficulties in implementing changes in education systems; professional development and empowerment among teachers and principals.
